KnitterLover started with a drawer full of needles we never used again and one too many “as pictured” disappointments. We got tired of guessing, so we started testing everything ourselves, and only kept what earned a place in our own project bags.
A shop built from our own project bags
KnitterLover began as a shared spreadsheet. A handful of us, knitters, crocheters, and sewists in our spare time, kept comparing notes on which tools actually held up and which ones disappeared into a drawer after one use. The spreadsheet kept growing, and one day it turned into a shop.
We are not a warehouse with ten thousand listings and a marketing budget. We are a small team that orders samples, works with them on our own projects, and only adds something to the catalog once we would happily hand it to a friend.

These are not marketing lines. This is how we actually run this shop.
Tried before it is listed
If it has not been wound, knit, hooked, or sewn with by someone on our team, it does not go in the shop.
Small batch, not a warehouse dump
We add a handful of new products a month, not hundreds. Every one earns its spot.
Honest descriptions
No inflated claims and no photos that do not match what arrives. What you read is what you get.
We stand behind it
If something arrives damaged or is not right, we make it right. No hoops, no runaround.
We work with small suppliers who care about the details
Most of what we carry comes from independent makers and small manufacturers who focus on a handful of products instead of a thousand. That usually means better materials, tighter quality control, and tools built to be used for years, not just for one project.
When a supplier cuts corners, we stop ordering from them. It is that simple.
Our quality bar is simple. Would we want this in our own project bag? If the answer is no, it does not go in yours either.
